We live in a new era of independent care – a time in which people are healthier and living longer, where a demand for holistic and personalised independent care is paramount. A time which is also exciting for Growthbuilt as it aligns with our own corporate philosophy of industry disruption, innovation, diversity and value engineering, enabling us to continue to build the very best retirement living facilities in Australia. As a company, Growthbuilt are driven to innovate. In the same way that the retirement living and aged care sectors are growing, Growthbuilt too will grow with it by harnessing innovation for our client’s needs.
‘Aged care’ and ‘innovation’ are words that traditionally haven’t always been used together. However the aged care and seniors living sectors are embracing change to cater for our nation’s ageing population. As a society, we are faced with the challenge of how to provide holistic, high-quality care for seniors in a dignified and respectful manner and without losing personalised care. This challenge has also been exacerbated by the construction industry, labelled by consulting firm McKinsey and The Economist Magazine as “being one of the least innovative industries in the world.” Our sectors are both at a point where to ensure a bright future, further innovative changes must be made.
Whilst it is easy to focus on improving technology, drastic medical improvements as a source of innovation are certainly important. First and foremost, we see the future of both our industries as one of continued customer personalisation and focus. The benefits of synergising digital disruption, innovative technology and medical advances are enormous.
Gone are the days where corporations provided a singular product to all their customers, a ‘one size fits all’ mentality. We live in an era of personalisation and the future of aged care and retirement living combines a variety of care options, levels and communities to suit individual and family needs. Growthbuilt wants to bring this personalised approach into construction, aiming to provide not only traditional construction services, but an innovative, holistic level of service not traditionally covered by construction firms. We have the ability to design, develop, project manage and construct from client conception right through to completion and beyond.
