Project Manager
Role: Established Project Manager (Residential and Commercial)
Growthbuilt is a Tier 2 Commercial Contractor based out of the Sydney CBD. Our focus is on Residential High-Rise, Mixed Use, Aged Care, Student Accommodation and Hotel projects up to $200Mil, as well as Commercial Fitout/Refurb up to $30Mil.
YOU:
- Tertiary-level qualification in Construction Management or equivalent
- Over 5 years’ experience at senior project management level in construction environment
- Proven ability to successfully deliver commercial/public projects to $20m
- Comprehensive understanding of design, construction and the cost management of projects
- Knowledge of Sydney construction market
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and through all media
- Sound business acumen
- Energetic and dynamic approach to construction
- Proficiency with MSOffice suite, MSProject
- Green project experience and training
DUTIES:
- Prepare and manage project programs
- Manage project financials
- Manage the procurement, establishment and the proper administration of all required Subcontracts and Supply Agreements for successful project delivery
- Identify project risks and develop risk management plan/s
- Effectively manage client, consultant, Council and Authorities’ relationships to benefit project/s and Growthbuilt business
- Maintain effective, proactive and appropriate communication with all relationships and Authorities
- Lead project team/s to maximise the contributions of each member
- Regularly audit project/s to ensure compliance with Contract
- Ensure compliance with regulatory environment
- Proactively manage the worksite to ensure compliance with current IR legislation NSW
- Maintenance of project records to internal and external requirements
