Site Manager
Role: Established Site Manager (Residential)
Growthbuilt is a Tier 2 Commercial Contractor based out of the Sydney CBD. Our focus is on Residential High-Rise, Mixed Use, Aged Care, Student Accommodation and Hotel projects up to $200Mil, as well as Commercial Fitout/Refurb up to $30Mil.
YOU:
- Building Diploma or higher qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in industry, including supervision and organisation of contract personnel
- Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager on multi-level commercial/residential projects
- Proven experience in effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships
- Good understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation and requirements
- Proven experience of effectively controlling site safety and environmental compliance and working within Quality Management and best practice systems
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Sound knowledge of BCA
- Computer skills – MSOffice suite, MSProject
- First Aid Certificate
- WHS Risk Management for Supervisors training
- Desirable – Certificate IV OHS
- Green project experience and training
DUTIES:
- Co-ordinate and implement all day-to-day activities on the site
- Effectively manage the construction program to achieve progress and project delivery schedules
- Programming, scheduling and working out crucial time lines
- Effectively manage subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers on site
- Manage and coordinate materials, plant and equipment on site
- Take off quantities
- Order materials
- Conduct site audits and inspect work to ensure conformity with all stated requirements – building regulations, QHSE regulations and standards, legal requirements.
