Role: Established Site Manager (Residential)

Growthbuilt is a Tier 2 Commercial Contractor based out of the Sydney CBD. Our focus is on Residential High-Rise, Mixed Use, Aged Care, Student Accommodation and Hotel projects up to $200Mil, as well as Commercial Fitout/Refurb up to $30Mil.


  • Building Diploma or higher qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in industry, including supervision and organisation of contract personnel
  • Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager on multi-level commercial/residential projects
  • Proven experience in effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships
  • Good understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation and requirements
  • Proven experience of effectively controlling site safety and environmental compliance and working within Quality Management and best practice systems
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Sound knowledge of BCA
  • Computer skills – MSOffice suite, MSProject
  • First Aid Certificate
  • WHS Risk Management for Supervisors training
  • Desirable – Certificate IV OHS
  • Green project experience and training


  • Co-ordinate and implement all day-to-day activities on the site
  • Effectively manage the construction program to achieve progress and project delivery schedules
  • Programming, scheduling and working out crucial time lines
  • Effectively manage subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers on site
  • Manage and coordinate materials, plant and equipment on site
  • Take off quantities
  • Order materials
  • Conduct site audits and inspect work to ensure conformity with all stated requirements – building regulations, QHSE regulations and standards, legal requirements.
