Building One Avon’s 168 units takes a blend of conservation and construction. We started with an existing excavation on a conservation area site including a heritage cottage. Our first task was to collect seeds and samples for nursery cultivation and replanting. Over 40,000 plants were propagated and planted over 12 months. Working closely with our full time, onsite client, Growthbuilt first built a weir then the main structure with an 11-day pouring cycle. One Avon will be completing by mid-2018.
