If you see my Mum or Dad doing something unsafe please stop them

In February launched this year’s first Safety Poster campaign focusing on stopping unsafe behaviour. Using the wise words of ‘If you see my mum or dad doing something unsafe, please stop them’ we aim to demonstrate that every worker has someone waiting for them at home who may be impacted if they, as a mother or father, are injured at work.

In the construction industry many subcontractors and self-employed workers have young families to support, and it is not unusual to see that if they don’t work, they don’t get paid. Prevention of injuries is far better than rehabilitation. We all need to look out for our co-workers and be assertive in stopping or preventing unsafe work habits. On a Growthbuilt site every worker has the authority to stop unsafe behaviours.
